In the Press: A Piet Oudolf Garden Featured in House & Garden

The September issue of House & Garden features a private residential project with a garden designed by Piet Oudolf and an outdoor furniture scheme developed in close collaboration with the homeowner.

The project included a visit to Paola Lenti in Milan, where the furniture concept was developed and individual pieces, colours, materials and finishes were selected for the different areas of the house and garden. Rather than treating each setting separately, the specification was considered as a complete scheme, using colour and texture to create continuity between the furniture, architecture and Oudolf’s distinctive planting.

Several years after its completion, the project remains a particularly strong example of how considered outdoor furniture can sit within a significant landscape design.
