Ambient Compass lantern

Designed by Henrik Pedersen, the Ambient Compass lantern takes inspiration from the timeless simplicity of the traditional compass, transforming a familiar navigational object into a beautifully crafted source of outdoor light. Four solid teak uprights echo the points of a compass rose, framing a handwoven all-weather wicker shade that softly diffuses the warm LED glow within. Available in three sizes for tabletop or floor-standing use, the lantern is powered by a rechargeable LED unit that can be charged by either solar or mains power, with a remote control offering eight adjustable light settings to create the desired atmosphere. Finished with an integrated teak handle for effortless portability, Ambient Compass combines sustainable materials, thoughtful functionality and enduring craftsmanship in a design that brings warmth and character to outdoor spaces long after sunset.
