Concreto dining table

The Concreto Dining Table, conceived by Francesco Rota, features a base of glossy-painted AISI 316 stainless steel, engineered for durability and outdoor resilience. Its top is composed of five slab-like segments of shaded concrete or Lias stone, which are held together by a delicate grid of steel supports; the alignment remains clean and structural, yet the material reads with the raw tactility of cement. What makes the Concreto top exceptional is its finishing: each concrete or Lias surface is enriched with a delicately hand-applied micro-ceramic mosaic, giving the surface subtle texture and a refined visual depth. The concrete slabs themselves are treated to limit the absorption of liquids and oils, while embracing natural variations in tone and texture that highlight the handcrafted quality of each piece.
