The Daydream Sunbed, designed by Francesco Rota, is a sculptural expression of functional elegance. With a streamlined stainless steel base wrapped in hand‑woven Rope cord, the lounger retains visual lightness while delivering structural refinement. Its standout ergonomic feature is a backrest adjustable in five recline positions, plus a flat resting option, allowing tailored comfort from upright reading to full relaxation. To complement this, a removable polyurethane foam seat pad and a loose cushion in polyester fiber provide softness and support. As a mark of its design merit, Daydream received a Special Mention at the 2014 German Design Awards, reflecting its refined balance of detail and function.
