Elba bar chair

Designed by David Rockwell, the Elba Bar Stool is fabricated from AISI 316 stainless steel, and supported by subtle plastic spacers to lift its form with quiet elegance. The seat and back panels are crafted from Diade, a patented thermo‑formed material composed of polyolefin coupled with Maris fabric. This unique pairing creates a richly irregular, textile‑like appearance; each piece boasting visual nuance and tactile character. Diade is sustainably engineered and recyclable. The stackable design allows up to four units to nest neatly; perfect for hospitality or compact residential spaces.  Despite its graphic precision, Elba doesn't sacrifice comfort: the gently contoured Diade panels softly support the body, while the stainless frame remains corrosion-resistant and suited for year-round outdoor use.
