Himba chair

Gracefully poised between organic form and sculptural artistry, the Himba Dining Chair, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2022. introduces a whisper of safari-inspired elegance to any setting. Its design draws on African motifs and raw, elemental beauty, interpreted through Lazzeroni’s delicate, “sentimental design” lens. Whether framed against verdant gardens or nestled in an open-air dining room, its silhouette carries both warmth and presence. Crafted from sand-blasted iroko wood, the gently curved backrest and slender, fluid legs evoke a sense of delicate balance. Comfort-conscious and refined, its seat cushion is cleverly engineered: atop the resilient wooden frame lies a removable pad of differentiated-density polyurethane foam, enveloped in acrylic-fiber upholstery. Beneath, a rubberized non-slip cloth ensures stability even on smooth surfaces.
