The Lapala Bar Stool is an elegant elevation of Mediterranean craft and modern outdoor design. Designed by the Lievore Altherr Molina studio, this bar stool is built of stainless steel tubing, lacquered for weather resistance and strength, while the seat and backrest are hand-woven using 7 mm high-resistance rope, giving a soft, tactile shell that breathes, supports and ages beautifully. A discreet footrest is integrated into the frame structure, allowing relaxed seating and ergonomic support. The design remains stackable, a practical feature for both residential and hospitality environments where storage or flexibility is needed. What truly distinguishes this stool is its marriage of material finesse and structural clarity: the rope-woven shell recalls traditional Mediterranean weaving but is executed in modern synthetic rope that tolerates UV, moisture and abrasion.
