Obi armchair
£0.00
The Obi Armchair, conceived by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, is a sculptural celebration of Japanese refinement infused with modern outdoor functionality. Its name and form pay homage to the kimono's obi belt; transformed here into a bold, horizontal architectural strip that softly contours the seat and back, creating both visual elegance and structural poise. Crafted from high-resistance, recyclable extruded and injected aluminium, the frame and legs are expertly powder-coated to endure all seasons while maintaining a serene, minimalist profile. The chair’s distinctive ‘belt’, hand-stitched in technical Zander fabric, delivers tactile sophistication and remarkable resilience in varying climates. Beneath its graceful silhouette lies thoughtful engineering: a polypropylene-slat seat reinforced with glass fibre supports plush outdoor-grade cushioning, perfect for relaxation with removable covers in a range of durable fabrics.
