The Portofino Dining Table is inspired by the understated elegance of the Italian Riviera and conceived as part of a collection originally developed for life on board yachts. Its solid timber structure, available in black locust heartwood or sassafras, reveals the natural character of the wood through subtle tonal variations and a finely crafted finish that emphasises texture rather than perfection. This tactile base is paired with a top composed of individually crafted elements in Pietra di Comiso, natural lava stone or glossy white stoneware, each material chosen not only for its durability but for the unique visual depth it brings to the surface. The inherent variations in the stone ensure that no two tables are exactly alike, while the hand-finished white stoneware option introduces an unexpected luminosity created through an artisanal glazing process.
