Spring rug

Spring is a modular rug for exterior and interior environments embroidered by hand. The floral pattern is executed with one- or two-colour flat braids in Rope yarn on elements in Kimia fabric, which form the backing of the rug. Once embroidered, the modules are sewn together with Punto Zigzag to form the surface of the rug. The number of elements varies according to the dimension of the rug. The floor can be seen through the gaps created by this production technique and the texture of the backing.
