Toku shading structure

Price

£0.00

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, the Toku Shading Structure is constructed from cedar heartwood treated with a natural transparent impregnating product, it offers both visual warmth and resilient weather resistance. The lounger platform comprises four removable seating panels; two with fixed backrests and two with two-position adjustable backrests, crafted from marine plywood and covered in Wara fabric. Shade and privacy are artfully managed via sliding Thuia fabric panels, which form overhead shading and optional vertical curtains that can be repositioned along the uprights. The entire canopy and curtain assembly is removable for flexibility and maintenance. Toku’s modularity invites flexible arrangements: seating panels can be aligned in pairs, L-shapes, or perpendicular layouts, forming intimate lounges or open communal zones. Optional standalone backrests in Orlando series style can be added for even greater configuration freedom.
