Wadi rug

The Wadi Rug is meticulously constructed by sewing 15 cm-wide stripes of Kimia fabric lengthwise using the Punto Zigzag technique, with the number of stripes varying to accommodate different rug dimensions. Interwoven into the seams are groups of two or five flat braids crafted from Rope yarn, also attached with the same precise stitch. Notably, one of these braids is intentionally designed to create a sinuous pattern, adding a dynamic visual flow to the rug's surface. The varying lengths of the fabric stripes result in an irregular border along the shorter sides, where elements are recessed or slightly protruding, enhancing the rug's textural depth and organic appeal.
