London City Penthouse

Working closely with a private client, we designed and delivered a considered outdoor lounge space for a London penthouse terrace, offering uninterrupted 360° views across the city, including The Shard, The Gherkin and St Paul’s. The brief was to create a space that could be enjoyed throughout the year - a calm and inviting retreat from the surrounding urban environment - while aligning with the client’s preference for a neutral, Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic.

To achieve this, we curated a scheme centred around Paola Lenti, selected for both its durability and refined materiality. A large Grafismi rug was introduced to define the seating area and establish a sense of an “outdoor room” within the generous terrace footprint. The layout features an L-shaped Canvas sofa, Strap side tables, and an Otto lounge chair with pouf, all arranged around a Sciara stone coffee table, chosen as a sculptural focal point. Teak lanterns from Gloster add warmth and contrast to the palette.
