Established over 60 years ago, Gloster is celebrated for its commitment to sustainable materials, timeless design, and meticulous craftsmanship. Their collections, such as Bora, Deck, and Grid, exemplify the fusion of form and function, offering versatile solutions for both residential and commercial outdoor spaces. 

Gloster's Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of Gloster's design philosophy. Gloster operates a fully traceable supply chain, owning and managing its own teak plantations in Indonesia. Trees are cultivated for 35–50 years before harvesting, ensuring timber density and durability. Plantations are managed under replanting and biodiversity protection programmes, meeting international forestry standards. Manufacturing is resource-efficient: small offcuts are used as biofuel for kiln drying, and larger surplus is repurposed or supplied to local communities. Frames are made from powder-coated aluminium with full recyclability, and fabrics include solution-dyed yarns with high UV resistance, many incorporating recycled content. Gloster’s build quality delivers exceptional service life, reducing whole-life environmental impact.
