Sandua high back lounge chair

Designed by Robin Hapelt, the Sandua high-back lounge chair reinterprets traditional weaving techniques through a contemporary outdoor lens. Its defining feature is the enveloping Dicord® shell, an exclusive weave that intertwines flat HDPE wicker with outdoor rope to produce a richly textured surface inspired by Southeast Asian craftsmanship. Available with either a sculpted solid teak frame or a sleek powder-coated aluminium base, Sandua offers two contrasting expressions of the same design: one celebrating the warmth and character of natural timber, the other favouring a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic.
