Sandua lounge chair

Designed by Robin Hapelt, the Sandua lounge chair reinterprets traditional weaving techniques through a contemporary outdoor lens, pairing an inviting, open silhouette with exceptional craftsmanship. Its defining feature is the handwoven Dicord® shell, an exclusive weave that combines flat HDPE wicker with outdoor rope to create a richly textured surface inspired by Southeast Asian craftsmanship. The lower backrest gives the chair a lighter, more relaxed profile while retaining the enveloping comfort that defines the collection. Available with either a sculpted solid teak frame or a sleek powder-coated aluminium base, Sandua offers two distinct expressions: one highlighting the warmth and natural character of timber, the other emphasising clean lines and a contemporary architectural feel. Deep, generously upholstered cushions complete the design, providing lasting comfort while complementing the tactile quality of the woven shell.
